Memories
We have a lot to catch up on,
You, and I.
Many memories to recount,
Of times gone by.
Sifting through the memories,
Switching from year to year.
Which ones are worth it,
Those that we hold dear.
We have time to relive,
The meaningful ones.
Savouring the good memories,
Forgetting the sad, some.
Cherishing the special,
Even if only a few.
Whilst making way,
For creating the new.
Let’s embrace today’s goodness,
With heartfelt gratitude.
As we traverse our experiences,
Making memories in plenitude.
May the cycle continue,
Round and round.
Reliving and recounting,
Memories old, and happily found.
