Lost

Lost

She walked away
Out of sight
He was left alone

She stepped into the shadows
Obscured by darkness
He did not follow

She took a path
Rocky and undulating
He could not see her

She climbed a cliff face
Bare knuckled grip
He turned backwards

She fell far
Contorted on landing
He was further away

She was broken
Bleeding heavily
He was unaware

She would survive
With determination
He was gone

She, was one and the same
He, was not

She is lost and shining a lamp
