I am back! Rising once more from life’s challenges.

I am back!

It has been some time since I last published my thoughts or a story on here.

In my absence, wasn’t it fantastic to read the words of my Guest Writer, Shirl Crimmins Smith?

If you missed her Short Story or would like to read it again, you can see hers and my other guest writer’s pieces here: Guest Writer’s

Shirl’s story is a hard act to follow; such a wonderful lady openly expressing herself whilst telling her story. Many of you enjoyed reading her words and could no doubt relate.

So much has happened in my personal life over the last several weeks, I have not been able to write.  I simply had nothing left in the tank to extract any morsels of palatable comprehension.

More recently I played catch up on so many tasks coupled with some rest, recovery and restoration.

Even my best laid strategies and plans to manage my wellness to avoid a ‘crash and burn’ does not always hold up.

Life sometimes has other ideas and that is what happened to me. Events beyond my control happened. My body responded, unfavourably.

So, in this situation, something had to give. In fact, many things had to give.

One ended up being my writing. I had so little mental, emotional and physical energy, I was not able to do it.

However, now, I am back!

I am working at a steady pace at present whilst I still restore. My aim is to build up my strength, wellness and energies to their optimum levels.

The projects I have planned for 2020 will require plenty of energy. The thought of them excites me.

In the meantime, I am working on finishing this year up with lots of organisation, tidying up and planning on my projects.

My hope is that in 2020, I am back with more gusto than I have had before.

So, as we journey through the last days of this decade, be kind and gentle to yourself, as I am doing for myself.

To help get through these last weeks of 2019, here are some handy tips I read recently: Top Tips for Festive Season Survival

Take care,
