Soul Soothing Sunday – Hickey Falls

A few weeks ago my family invited me on a car trip with them for a Soul Soothing Sunday outing. Destination – Hickey Falls, between Gilgandra and Coonabarabran, in Central West, New South Wales.

Here are a few snaps from the visit. There is a walking track that takes you to the tops of the rocks and around where the waterfall is flowing over the edge.

It was a lovely winter’s day – warm in the sun, however, as you stepped closer to the falls, the temperature dropped significantly.

A word of warning – there are no toilet facilities on site. Rest Stops with Toilets are a few kilometres away.

We had a lovely time exploring before having afternoon tea and heading for home.
